Prepare read-only API access for the execution beta. Quantnest never asks for withdrawal rights; trading remains off until a future controlled release.

You can still verify strategies, run backtests, and use the marketplace. Read-only connections and paper monitoring will roll out gradually — see Execution beta.

Security practices

Prefer read-only keys for monitoring.
Use IP allowlists on the exchange when available.
Never enable withdrawal permissions on API keys.
Keys are encrypted at rest; masked values are shown here.
